Integration & CMS Compatibility

Review hardware and software as one defined combination.

For software & CMS providers

Start with the CMS name and version, deployment method, required operating system, and the functions your application needs. Identify whether content runs in a native app, browser, or external player.

  • Resolution, orientation, codecs, content formats, and required interfaces
  • Scheduling, synchronized playback, browser or API dependencies
  • Offline playback, network interruptions, reboot, and recovery requirements
  • App installation, firmware updates, remote access, and security responsibilities

Prepare a technical review

Provide a product link and proposed board, memory, storage, OS, firmware, software version, and peripherals. Share test content and a written acceptance checklist. Features described for one combination should not be assumed for another.

Define the result of each test

A compatibility result applies to the tested model, hardware revision, operating system, firmware, and software version. Use a clear status with its scope and evidence; the labels below describe a review method, not an endorsement of any CMS.

  • Verified: the named requirement is supported by an applicable test record
  • Partial: only the documented subset has been verified
  • Not yet verified: no applicable result is available
  • Not compatible: testing identifies a requirement that is not supported

Identify the starting hardware

Browse a mounting format, then name the model in your technical request. Multi-screen and interactive projects need their own controller, touch, and peripheral review.

Plan the compatibility checks

Request an integration review

Include the configuration, required features, software package or access instructions, test plan, and intended environment. Agree on responsibilities and acceptance criteria before a deployment decision.
