Restaurants & Menu Boards

Connect menu readability, content control, and installation planning.

Define the menu-board layout

Map the customer’s viewing position, menu-reading distance, screen count, orientation, and available mounting area. Distinguish dining-area and counter placements from kitchen exposure or an outdoor drive-thru.

Record installation conditions

  • Viewing direction, reflections, ambient light, and opening hours
  • Mounting surface, weight and clearance requirements, and service access
  • Power, networking, cable routes, and signal sources
  • Grease, heat, moisture, cleaning exposure, or outdoor conditions
  • Responsibilities for mounting, electrical work, networking, and content

Confirm model-specific suitability and protection requirements before ordering. A general menu-board application does not establish an outdoor or kitchen rating.

Identify the content system

Name the CMS or player, content formats, menu update workflow, scheduling, offline needs, and any synchronized playback requirement. Review the exact combination before deployment.

Review integration requirements

Find a starting format

Use wall-mounted products as a starting point for a menu-board layout. Other placements and outdoor projects need their own hardware review. A self-service ordering kiosk is a separate workflow from a menu display.

Prepare the site and test plan

Share the menu-board brief

Send a layout drawing, installation photos, country, screen count, required orientation, CMS details, environmental conditions, and target date. Identify what your installer and software provider will supply.
