Shipping policy

Shipping and lead time policy

Effective date: October 22, 2026.

1. Scope and agreed order terms

Shenzhen Gemdragon Display Technology Co., Ltd. ("Gemdragon," "we," "us," or "our") operates this website and supplies commercial displays and related products for business use. A particular order may identify an affiliated company as the seller. The accepted quotation or contract must name that seller and its supply, invoicing, collection, and export arrangements before payment; that seller is responsible for its accepted sale. These policies apply to that affiliated seller only where expressly incorporated into its order. An affiliate is not substituted for an accepted seller without the buyer's agreement.

This policy explains shipping arrangements for direct purchases. Your accepted quotation, configuration sheet, order confirmation, and agreed delivery or service plan identify the arrangements for your order. A specific term accepted by both parties governs the matter it expressly addresses, subject to mandatory law and applicable marketplace rules. This policy does not change an earlier accepted order or reduce an applicable product-specific warranty commitment. Alibaba.com shipping promotions, local returns, or platform protection do not automatically apply to a direct website order.

2. Destinations, dispatch locations, and available routes

Our main production and dispatch base is Shenzhen, China. Selected products may also be available from a US warehouse, subject to confirmation of the specific configuration, stock, and dispatch arrangement for your order. US inventory is not available for every product and does not establish a local-return or local-repair entitlement.

Shipping availability is confirmed for the destination, product, quantity, and route before order acceptance; we do not guarantee service to every country or location. We can discuss road, air, sea, door-to-door, port delivery, and other suitable freight arrangements. You may appoint your own forwarder for collection or ask us to quote delivery to that forwarder's address. The accepted order identifies the dispatch point, handover or delivery point, included service, and allocation of charges and risk.

Battery shipments require route-specific confirmation. Our forwarding partners can assess a suitable battery route; when you appoint the forwarder, confirm its acceptance and requirements directly, with our reasonable assistance where agreed. No route, packaging, or document requirement is assumed identical for all battery products. A material change affecting price, timing, or responsibility requires written agreement before dispatch.

3. Freight quotations and included charges

To obtain a freight quotation, provide the destination country, postal code, full delivery address, quantity, selected configuration, and any access or unloading requirements. Charges may depend on packed dimensions, chargeable weight, volume, route, service level, and handling requirements. A product's net weight alone is not a final freight calculation.

The quotation will distinguish the product price from freight and identify included and excluded services, currency, validity, and the applicable delivery term. A freight figure that is not expressly identified as a total delivered price must not be treated as including all destination charges. We will disclose known foreseeable charges that you must pay before order acceptance. A later optional service or change requires a written quotation and your acceptance; unavoidable third-party charges are handled under Section 12 rather than as an unrestricted surcharge right.

Website prices normally show a product-only reference amount. Packaging is quoted separately for the selected packing method, such as a wooden crate, flight case, or project-specific protection, unless the accepted offer expressly includes it. Freight, optional services, and tax scope must also be identified in the accepted quote. An agreed completed sale remains governed by its accepted price and included scope.

4. Production lead time and its starting point

Sample and production lead times depend on the selected configuration, quantity, material availability, and approved customization. The order will identify the required payment milestone, final configuration or drawing approvals, and buyer information needed to start the schedule. Production lead time starts only when the identified prerequisites have been completed; we will confirm that start and the planned dispatch date in writing.

A quotation will state whether a period uses calendar days or business days and whether announced factory holidays are included. There is no universal sample or mass-production lead time under this policy. A buyer-requested change or a delayed prerequisite will be assessed for its actual effect, with a revised schedule and any additional cost agreed in writing. It does not automatically extend unrelated stages of the order.

5. Dispatch, transit, and delivery estimates

Production lead time, carrier transit time, customs processing, and final delivery are separate stages. An estimated dispatch or transit period is not a guaranteed installation or project-completion date. A binding delivery deadline or special time-critical remedy must be expressly accepted in the order.

We will provide available carrier or shipment references after dispatch; some freight services use booking or transport documents rather than parcel-style tracking. Where a material delay becomes known, we will explain its cause and expected effect and discuss a revised plan. Carrier congestion or customs delay is assessed according to actual responsibility and the agreed delivery term. We do not exclude responsibility for our own late performance or inaccurate documents merely because a carrier is involved.

6. Packaging and shipment documents

Packaging is quoted separately according to the product, selected packing method, route, and project requirements unless the accepted offer expressly includes it. The quotation must identify the packing scope and any crate, flight case, pallet, export treatment, or battery-handling charge before acceptance. Separate pricing does not remove our obligation to provide the agreed suitable protection, or our responsibility for causative packing failure attributable to us.

We will provide the shipment information and documents included in our accepted or legal obligations. Extra originals, legalization, special testing, destination-specific certification, and nonstandard documentation require confirmation of availability, scope, price, and timing before purchase. Work already included in our obligations is not charged twice. Neither a packing description nor a generic certificate statement establishes compliance for every configuration and destination.

7. Delivery terms, transport risk, and ownership

Where the parties use an Incoterms® rule, the order must identify the rule, the precise named place or port, and the version, such as Incoterms® 2020. The chosen rule and any expressly agreed variation determine the relevant delivery, cost, and transport-risk allocation. A quotation for carriage to a destination does not by itself mean that all transport risk stays with us until arrival.

Incoterms do not determine payment, ownership transfer, product acceptance, warranty remedies, or dispute resolution. Those matters are governed by the accepted order, the applicable policies, and law. We do not treat handover to a carrier or a delivery signature as automatically extinguishing a claim for our defective supply or inadequate packing. Any variation from the chosen rule must be identified clearly rather than hidden in a general exclusion.

A product price described informally as a factory or export reference price is not by itself a completed FOB delivery agreement. FOB is used only where the accepted quote identifies the named shipment port and the applicable sea or inland-waterway shipment; its agreed port-delivery and export obligations are not replaced by mere factory pickup. For collection, air, road, or multimodal shipment, the parties will select and record an appropriate delivery arrangement. Other terms, including DDP, can be discussed and must be expressly confirmed for the order.

8. Customs, duties, taxes, and destination services

The order must identify the party responsible for export and import formalities, the importer of record where relevant, and which duties, taxes, brokerage, terminal, and destination charges are included. Unless expressly included in the accepted quote or allocated to us by the chosen delivery term or law, import duties, import taxes, and buyer-side import formalities are payable by the buyer. This qualification does not transfer an obligation that we accepted under the order.

Under an agreed DAP arrangement, the buyer normally handles import clearance, applicable import duties and taxes, and unloading at the named destination. DDP is offered only after we expressly confirm an executable import and tax arrangement for that order; it must not be inferred from the words "door-to-door." We do not guarantee a tax rate or an exemption. We will not knowingly use a false value, false origin, or incorrect goods description to reduce charges. Any material ambiguity about the included scope must be resolved before acceptance.

9. Cargo insurance and recovery

Shipments arranged through our forwarding partners use the applicable transport-protection arrangements for the agreed route. The nature and extent of any insurance or carrier protection depend on the shipment and the partner's applicable terms; this is not a promise of an unlimited or separately buyer-owned all-risk policy. We do not publish the partners' commercial policy details on this website. Before acceptance, we will privately confirm the shipment-relevant protection, claims process, and any material limitation, deductible, or charge affecting the buyer's agreed rights and costs. Protection already included in an accepted quote will not be charged again.

Where you appoint a forwarder, confirm its insurance or transport protection and battery acceptance directly; we can assist with relevant product and shipment information as agreed. The agreed delivery term may itself require a party to arrange insurance. DAP alone does not require seller-arranged insurance for the buyer; ordinary carrier liability is not the same as cargo insurance.

We do not guarantee cover for every loss, glass breakage, concealed damage, delay, or external event. We will provide reasonable information needed for a claim, and recovered sums will be accounted for without duplicate recovery. An insurer's or carrier's rejection does not remove our independent responsibility for defective supply, causative packing failure, or another breach attributable to us.

10. Delivery access, unloading, and installation

Tell us before quotation about restricted access, delivery appointments, residential or remote locations, vehicle limits, floor level, lifting needs, and any required inside delivery. Unless included in the accepted quotation or required by the chosen delivery term, freight does not include cranes, forklifts, tail-lift service, stair carrying, inside placement, installation, electrical work, commissioning, or removal of old equipment.

The buyer must arrange safe receiving access and competent personnel or equipment for the work allocated to the buyer. We will provide available packed dimensions and handling information needed to plan receipt. A required service that was included in our quotation cannot later be charged again. We do not require unsafe unloading or unqualified electrical or battery work.

11. Buyer-appointed forwarders and shipment changes

Where you appoint a forwarder, provide booking, pickup, export, destination, and contact instructions in time for the agreed handover. Responsibility for the forwarder's charges and actions follows the accepted delivery arrangement and actual cause of loss; appointment by the buyer does not excuse our own packing, documentation, or supply failure.

We will not make a material product substitution, change the agreed delivery point, or split an order in a way that increases your charges without prior written agreement. If you request a split shipment, route upgrade, or address change, we will confirm feasibility, revised timing, and incremental cost before proceeding. We will not charge you for additional shipments needed solely to correct our own incorrect supply, except for unrelated upgrades you request.

12. Receiving delays, failed delivery, and additional costs

You must provide accurate recipient and import information and complete the receiving steps allocated to you. If an avoidable delay, refusal, missed appointment, or failure to obtain buyer-side clearance causes additional storage, redelivery, demurrage, detention, or return charges, you are responsible only for reasonable, necessary, documented amounts attributable to that failure and not already included or recovered elsewhere.

We will notify you promptly, take reasonable steps to limit loss, and obtain agreement before discretionary new services or our own storage charges. Where a third-party charge cannot reasonably be avoided or approval obtained in time, we will explain the reason and provide supporting evidence; the agreed delivery term and actual responsibility still apply. No fixed daily fee, automatic deposit forfeiture, disposal, or unlimited charge is created by this policy. Longer-term uncollected goods require a separate lawful arrangement with appropriate notice. Charges caused by our own error remain our responsibility to the extent required by the order or law.

13. Inspection at delivery and concealed faults

Before signing an unqualified delivery receipt, inspect the packaging, seals, labels, and quantity and retain dated photos and video. Where the carrier permits safe on-site opening, record unpacking and the visible product condition. If opening or testing is not permitted, record the unopened packaging and note "unopened / contents not inspected" or a similar reservation where the carrier permits it. Report visible damage or shortages immediately and contact us for instructions, including whether refusal is appropriate. Do not acknowledge goods as inspected and undamaged when that inspection has not occurred.

Record the first opening and initial checks before installation or commercial use, keep relevant packaging while the claim is assessed, and promptly report concealed faults after discovery. An unboxing video is helpful but is not the only acceptable evidence. A signature or late damage report does not automatically waive mandatory rights or valid warranty coverage. For the full procedure, the initial-check recommendation of 7 calendar days where practicable, and the 30-calendar-day early-failure request window, see our Returns and limited warranty policy. These are not a universal acceptance deadline or a free-trial period.

14. Shipment problems, returns, and warranty logistics

For a missing, delayed, damaged, or incorrect shipment, email andy@gemdragondisplay.com with the order reference, shipment reference, and reasonably available evidence. We will review the sales and transport terms and the cause of loss, assist with the relevant carrier process, and arrange any remedy we owe. An estimated carrier investigation is not an unlimited extension of our own obligations.

The original sale's freight arrangement does not by itself determine who pays for a warranty return. Return authorization, the service location, covered parts shipping, whole-unit returns, early-failure remedies, and refund deductions are governed by the Returns and limited warranty policy and the accepted service plan. Do not send goods or unsafe batteries to an office or carrier without written instructions. Shipping arrangements do not restart or shorten the warranty commencement rules in that policy.
