Quality & Inspection
Ask for evidence that applies to your model and destination.
Define the evidence you need
Name the model, configuration, destination, and project requirements. Distinguish product specifications, inspection results, and compliance documents: each answers a different question.
Inspection information
Ask which inspection records apply to the proposed configuration or production batch and which checks were performed. A blank report template does not demonstrate that a unit or batch passed inspection.
Compliance document review
Request applicable records for the exact model and destination. Review the issuer, report or certificate number, covered product configuration, test scope, and validity with your project team.
- One model’s certificate does not establish category-wide compliance
- A requested test or rating is not a confirmed product capability
- Confirm the market requirements and the evidence needed before ordering
Set project acceptance criteria
Agree on the checks that matter for the project before sample evaluation or inspection. Record the configuration, test method, conditions, result, and unresolved questions rather than relying on a general quality label.
Prepare the review
Use the inspection guides to define questions for your supplier and installation team. Request the applicable records before relying on a stated result.
Request project documentation
Send the product link, configuration, destination, and the exact document or inspection information required. Include any acceptance checklist or market-specific requirement.
